Overlooking Davao City @ Eden Nature Park
Davao City is one of the greenest city in the Philippines. It is a huge city covered with forest due to strict implementation of log ban Trees within the city remained abundant. One of the most exciting places that we went during our vacation in Davao is the Eden Nature Park which was located more than 3,000 feet above sea level and it was located on Mount Talomo, one of the mountains in Davao and you will see Mount Apo which the country's tallest mountain.
From Davao City downtown, travel time takes one hour via van and when we arrived to this place, it rained heavily. We thought that we were not able to visit this place but our group decided to push the activity and in after 10 minutes, the rain stopped and we were happy about that. :)
Welcome to Eden Nature Park! :)

This was my second visit to this place and I myself was an immediate tour guide to my friends but still I was happy that finally I went back after two years. I already featured this before but during my overnight stay in Davao City. See it here.
The Day Tour Center is the registration and information center of the of the resort. We decided to avail the Day Tour Shuttle Tour with plated snacks for PHP320 (PHP120 for guided tour + PHP200 for plated snacks). The shuttle tour is a first come, first serve basis. This tour lasted for an hour and the trip was worth it because we were experienced the great beauty of the nature park and appreciate the man-made creation of the forest (95% of the park was man-made) which was according to the tour guide. But still it was a God-given blessings to all of us. :)
Ready for the Shuttle Tour! :)
We had tour tour guide and he welcomed us in the tour. We were the only in the group so the tour was more fun and interactive. He was very accommodating and he explained the purpose of having the nature park and the importance of trees to people. I find the place huge and amazed the beauty. We were advised to took photos since the tour guide welcomed us to the Amphitheater, Flower Garden and Rainbow Pass.

We hopped again the shuttle and roamed around the nature park and we saw different structures that was intended for overnight stays and some locally planted fruit trees or plants such as durian, mangosteen, rambutan and many more. The tour guide also picked some herbal leaves during our tour and he let us smell the scent of those leaves which I remember some: oregano, rosemary and basil. It was such a nice tour. Our next stop was called Tinubdan or the presentation of Mindanao cultures and traditions or the way of Mindanao life.
it was named "Matino"

Thanks for learning here! :)
After our learning experiences in Mindanao cultures, we headed to another shuttle tour and went to some of the best part, Lola's Garden. There were many planted flowers and medicinal plants and the best part was the great view of Davao City, Davao Gulf and Samal Island. It was a breathtaking view that we were busy taking photos after photos. :)
